Initial Consultation and Discovery Call

We understand that embarking on renovations is a significant decision, and that’s why we are grateful for the opportunity to hold a 15-minute discovery call with you. In this free consultation, we will guide you through the process and allow us to better understand your goals, preferences, and needs.

In-person Discovery Session and Project Consultation

During the consultation, we will take a brief tour of your home or office. This helps us understand the space, lighting, and other elements that should be considered in the design plan. Your style and functionality for each space, along with identifying existing furnishings that should be included in the plan, are mutually determined. An inventory and photographs are taken, along with room measurements, so we can create an outstanding design just for you. Before the design process begins, both style and a budget are agreed upon. This is a more hands-on approach to your project for a fee of $400.

Design Planning, Conceptualization and Presentation

In our workshop, sketches, renderings, and floor plans are created. We will pull together a variety of design and product options, all personalized for you. On our follow-up appointment, we reveal our recommendations for creating the space of your dreams. Together, we’ll make the selections and discuss any adjustments necessary to the design plan.

Sourcing and Selection

Once the design and concepts have been determined, sourcing comes next! Sourcing is a fundamental aspect of the interior design process, where designers curate and select a wide array of materials, furnishings, and decor elements to create harmonious and captivating spaces. This intricate art form combines creativity, resourcefulness, and a keen eye for detail to transform an empty room into a visually stunning and functional environment.

Design Execution and Set up

This is one of our favorite parts of the entire process! In a few weeks, your custom design is delivered and installed by interiors experts and supervised by us. You will see Julie and the team in action! This involves, receiving and delivering the gorgeous furniture pieces you approved and installing all the elements that make up the design vision. Sit back and relax as your space is transformed into your dream home!  

Completion and Close Out

And finally, after the busy execution phase, comes the project close out. This is the time Julie and the clients do final inspection, walkthrough, punch list and quality control. The team ensures that all design elements, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings are installed correctly and meet the design specifications. A final walkthrough is done with the client to review the completed project and address any concerns or issues. Any remaining tasks or items that require attention, such as touch-ups or adjustments, are documented in a punch list for resolution.
